It's official, Vampire Weekend have credibility. We kid, sorta. But it certainly doesn't hurt when Peter Gabriel covers your song. We're thinking of writing a song referencing Scarlett Johansson so she'll cover it. Oh wait, nevermind, we've heard her covers. That might not be such a good idea. Anyway...here goes Peter Gabriel referencing himself in his cover of Vampire Weekend's "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa." We like it a whole lot, how 'bout you?

Vampire Weekend got extra cred a few weeks back, when their record was played on "Charlie Gillet's World of Music." The set included a quick lesson in Congolese music, "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa," followed by actual Congolese music..
